Bio-Processing is a metabolic process that produces chemical changes in an organic substrate through the action of enzymes and microorganisms. The activity of microorganisms brings about a desirable change to a foodstuff or beverage. FIPROS operates several tanks for a range of different bio-processes.
Application areas
FIPROS offers processing of enzyme modified liquids or pastes, such as for example starches, lactose-free milk or cheeses. Heating, cooling, and pasteurization processes can be included. We also offer vessels for solid Bio-Processing which can for example be used for processing mustard, malt or corn products.
